The recreational opportunities are endless in Marinette County.  With over 400 miles of snow mobile and atv trails it is a destination for power sports enthusiasts.  Marinette County has 444 lakes and 920 miles of rivers and streams that offer abundant fishing, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, white water rafting and floating opportunities.  Waterfalls abound in the waterfall capital of Wisconsin with 14 waterfalls within the county boundaries.  Hunting opportunities for deer, grouse, turkey and bear are endless and no permission is needed due to the thousands of acres of public hunting land.  Nine golf courses dot the forests and country side of Marinette County.
